Never, never, never pay money to learn more about a "job" or an "opportunity".

Ads that say "Send $9.99 to learn how you can (do any number of jobs from home)" are simply ways that others are raising money so that THEY can make a buck off your desire.

There are good work@home jobs out there. But they are TRULY jobs. Not opportunities you have to pay for.

Make $$$, Sell Your Stuff

Yes, it's true. There are LOTS of people out there making $$ selling on eBay.

I'm not one of them.

But I keep hoping that one day I'll be. LOL

This is a great opportunity for moms who are serious. You can replace your income if you are diligent and learn how to do it.

Moms are able to sell stuff they have, and stuff they find. Outgrown kids clothes, maternity clothes, and work clothes from your former work life are some of the things that you may have around the house already.

Get out into local thrift stores to find things that YOU see people are buying or collecting on eBay. It's like treasure hunting! You can even involve your kids.

If you are working for someone else, there are 5 things that will help you be successful. Some you can prepare for in advance, others you can't...

1. A boss who understands your situation, perhaps from experience, and is willing to work with you.

2. Friends who can help with your children in a pinch.

3. The ability to be flexible with your schedule and your needs.

4. An understanding spouse, who supports you and has the same desires as you in regards to being home-based.

5. Help! You won't have as much time, energy, or desire to do ALL the household chores by yourself. Enlist your kids (even little ones can help)

I'm a mom.

I'm a full-time working mom.

I have to work -- I don't have a choice.

But I'm passionate about having the opportunity to be there when my children need me.

I drop off at school in the morning, pick up when school is out, take to lessons and scouts, and even have regular playdates. All without babysitters or daycare.

I believe that there are opportunities but we have to make them happen -- whether it is by creating your own source of income online, starting a business, or creating an arrangement with an employer.

I have tons of ideas and lots of experience doing all of this. And I can't wait to share it with you!
